It’s now been over a month since I returned from my week in Iceland, and I have been very lazy with getting my photos, video, and memories from that trip organized. Iceland is a stimulating place to visit, so it’s easy to end up with piles of photos and piles of footage that seem daunting to get through once you get home.
But, this past weekend I put my visions of perfectionism aside so that I could actually produce something: a memory for me and a snippet of one of my favourite days from that trip.
Locations shown in the video:
- South Coast Iceland
- Seljalandsfoss
- Skógafoss
- Sóheimajökull Glacier (Read about walking on the glacier here!)
- Reynisdrangar Cliffs + Black Sand Beach + Vík

June 9, 2015 at 9:02 AMNo I haven’t been to any of those places, but I hope to one day! What a beautiful and desolate landscape. That huge waterfall on the beach looks amazing, where was that?

June 11, 2015 at 8:45 AMHey! The waterfalls in the video above are Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. If you mean the cliffs on the beach, that’s the Reynisdrangar Cliffs. Honestly, this is an amazing itinerary for a day drive, and each place has its own backstory. Take the opportunity if you get it!
