I’m happiest when on the move, but I’ve got to admit that there are a few perks that go along with staying in one place for a while. When I moved into an empty apartment in Edmonton, I was excited about setting up a proper workspace for the first time in… well… a long time.
Before I had a couch, table, chairs–really anything other than a mattress and boxspring–I had a desk. Of course, having a desk without a chair isn’t the most useful thing in the world, but eventually it all came together.
This is a different post from me, but hey, we’re all open-minded here and I’m sure I won’t ruffle too many feathers. So, here’s a little video I put together to share my workspace with you (albeit, looking a lot tidier than usual).
I’ve been known to upload a video from time to time, so feel free to check out my Youtube channel here.
Thanks for watching (and reading)!

Lovely setup! The flowers are such a nice touch, I might just have to go and get some for my desk tomorrow! Also great job on the video editing!
Thanks Katie! I have to admit, not all of the flowers are real. Some day I wish to be one of those people who always keeps fresh flowers around, not quite there yet 🙂
Lovely space!
And as to the change up, I can’t speak for anyone else but I’m super nosy so I love any chance to look into people’s living spaces.

Thanks! It’s quite disorganized (usually much worse than this), but my mind is quite disorganized as well, so it works out perfectly 🙂
Love this! I agree that the workspace can make all the difference in keeping us creatively inspired:)
Lovely video, Marie! You’ve inspired me to make my desk look prettier 🙂
